Traffic Fatalities in Kagawa pref.

On the ranking of the number of traffic fatalities by prefecture per 100,000 people in 2016 up to this point, Tokushima prefecture ranks No.1, followed by Kochi, and Kagawa, meaning that Shikoku has the top 3.
The numbers have been going down on a national scale, but these 3 Shikoku prefectures show a higher count in comparison with last year.
Although accident is not so frequent in Ehime, there is no doubt that Shikoku has the highest risk of death in a traffic accident.
In Kagawa, most people find driving surprisingly smooth.
We can find many wide roads in anywhere, despite it being the smallest prefecture in Japan. As a matter of fact, the percentage of paved road and road density is one of the highest in Japan.
